| MTVLabs offers its
customers, partners, and suppliers a couple options for secure communications and transactions.
Encrypted Web Sessions
At times, the small lock icon appears in the status bar of your browser. This indicates that you
are using a secure, encrypted channel to communicate with the web server. This feature, known as SSL,
is automatically used when you are asked to supply sensitive data. Optionally, you may choose to
use this secure channel all the time you are interacting with the MTVLabs Web Server. Just address
MTVLabs with this URL instead:
https://mtvlabs.com:9226
The first time you use this option, your browser should warn you
that it does not automatically know to trust the MTVLabs Web Server. This is up to you. Naturally,
you must trust MTVLabs to use this feature.
If you use a link that takes you from MTVLabs to a different web server the lock icon will
disappear and your SSL protection will end until you return.
